Great place with fantastic food and hospitable staff. Definitely the best restaurant I visited during my stay on the Azores. Their bread and homemade butter is a must taste and thet serve great seafood. The location and view is great too, you will be overlooking Pico mountain. You won't be disappointed.

We dined here in summer 2018.Good quality ingredients prepared and cooked with skill. We had cold fragrant melon soup bursting with freshness, tender prawns expertly cooked until slightly translucent in the middle, and punchy beef ribs in red wine sauce with fat melting off the bone.Outdoor seating available with a perfect view of Pico mountain.

Good food, nice interiors, great location, good service. We went to Praya for a light lunch after swimming at the beach nearby. Everything was delicious with the Queijo Morro (local cheese) being the highlight. The menu looked very promising. Good wine list as well. The interiors are nicely decorated which differentiate the place a lot from the standard tavern aesthetics that you usually find in the region. Service was excellent.

The food was fantastic, the view and ambience was great.. But in my opinion the greatest asset was the staff. They are cordial engaging and passionate. If you are visiting the island of Faial do yourself a favor and dine here.
